Bagwell Construction Services built this 1200 square foot custom home with a detached garage and library for a wonderful couple. The home sits on a beautiful orange orchard in a ranching community of Ventura County. During construction, the foundation of the house had to be raised above the ground, because the property resides in a flood plain as it is adjacent to a local river. Reminiscent of the plantation style homes of the past, this custom home was handcrafted to compliment the topography of the area. The front of the this residence is both comforting and inviting with its expansive porch which wraps around the side of the house.
BCS performed all elements of construction and design on this custom home. Their in-house designers and construction professionals helped the couple with all of the selections, which included appliances, flooring, counter tops, paint colors, fixtures, and interior design for the entire house. Down to every last detail, BCS aimed to please this custom home client. Every element of design emulated the taste of the client which added a personal touch to the home.
